About Me

My name is Elias de Oliveira. I am 38 years old and I live in Brazil (Fortaleza/CE). I was born and raised in the same city where I live today with my family – Lenir de Oliveira (Wife) and Miguel de Oliveira (Son). I am a Systems Analyst specialized in Web/Mobile and Digital Designer as a “hobby“.

I was an organizer of the Google Develeper Group from Fortaleza for a few years and our community had some activities to be carried out to improve the engagement of Developers, Designers and passionate about technologies.

In this daily learning I had the opportunity to create several arts to give more professionalism to the community and with that I was invited to develop the visual identity of the GDG DevFest Nordeste 2014 in Brazil and to my surprise the created art was chosen by the curator of the GDG Global Summit 2015 held in California SF.

Unfortunately I couldn’t participate in this event because of my son Miguel who was a few months old at the time, but my joy in being able to collaborate with the largest Google developer community in the world was a dream come true.

Theme

Most artworks are based on the concept of minimalism, non-objective art (abstract art or abstractionism) and geometric art using simple shapes, colors and lines.

My obsession with abstractionism

Abstractionism has a unique message that provokes gazes, allowing artists and viewers to engage through art using their freedom of expression.

Creating a work of art without depending on a visual context is a unique and challenging process that so captivated me in this way of expressing myself.

Purpose of my arts

All digital works designed by me aim to bring different feelings through colors, shapes and minimalist approach that create an abstract composition unique to my free style in creation.

Unlike the visual context of objects, I intend to take the viewer through intangible experiences and stimulate their creative capacity.
